01 Overview

This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are issued for purchases made through getleaktrace.com. All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your financial institution.

02 Identity Audit Reports — Individual

If your completed report contains no findings beyond what was shown in your preview, you are entitled to a full refund. Email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery with your Report ID and we will process the refund promptly.

Refunds are also available in the following circumstances:

Duplicate charge — you were charged more than once for the same report.
Billing error — an incorrect amount was charged due to a technical error.
Report not delivered — your report was not generated or delivered within 72 hours of confirmed payment.

To request a refund under any of these circumstances, contact [email protected] within 7 days of the charge with your order details and a description of the issue.

03 Monitoring Subscriptions — Individual

Monthly and annual monitoring subscriptions are billed in advance.

Monthly
No refund is issued for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time and your subscription will remain active until the end of the paid period.
Annual
No refund is issued for the remaining months of an annual subscription once the billing period has begun. You may cancel at any time to prevent future renewal.

Refunds on subscriptions are available only in cases of duplicate charge or billing error as described in Section 2.

04 Business Assessment Reports

If your full forensic audit report delivers no findings beyond what appeared in your intelligence brief, you are entitled to a full refund of your audit fee. No forms, no process — we review and issue the refund within 2 business days.

Refunds are available in the following circumstances:

No new findings discovered — your full forensic audit returned no findings beyond what appeared in your intelligence brief.
Duplicate charge — you were charged more than once for the same report.
Billing error — an incorrect amount was charged due to a technical error.
Report not delivered — your audit report was not delivered within 72 hours of confirmed payment.

Refunds are not available if findings were identified and delivered in your report and you chose not to act on them, or if the request is made after the 7-day window. To request a refund, email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery and include your Report ID.

05 Business Monitoring Subscriptions

The same terms as Section 3 apply to business monitoring subscriptions. No refunds are issued for the current billing period. Cancellation prevents future renewal only.

06 How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] and include the following:

We will review all requests within 5 business days and respond via email. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your financial institution.

07 Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension. Legitimate billing concerns are resolved promptly when raised directly with our team.

08 Consumer Protection Laws

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation in Canada or the United States. In jurisdictions where consumer protection laws provide greater rights than those described here, those laws take precedence.
